Dear Prospective Resident of a CAAP-Affiliated Residency Program,
Thank you for your interest in CAAP and desire to train and serve as a Christian physician in family medicine, internal medicine, paediatrics or emergency medicine. If your desire aligns with our mission statement “CAAP supports programs that that teach and mentor African physicians and primary care providers to empower the Body of Christ to continue the teaching and healing ministry of the Great Physician,” then we welcome your connection to CAAP.
CAAP is a new support, development and networking organization which provides residency program consultations and certification. In our networking role, we seek to connect prospective residents like you with church hospitals accepting prospective Christian medical school graduates for their family medicine, internal medicine, paediatric, and emergency medicine programs. Programs we envision aligning with CAAP are those on the page on this website that are listed under the tab “Family Medicine Faculty Needed.” Please go to that webpage to identify church hospital programs we expect to become CAAP affiliated and accredited programs in the next few years. You will need to directly contact those programs to apply for your specialty residency.
As we approve programs in the future to be part of CAAP, we will host webpages for them on this website with information on those programs including application details.
